Scott Peterson

Scott Peterson is a relationship advisor for Silicon Valley Bank in San Francisco, California and supports client accounts in venture-funded commercial banking Software and Internet practice groups. He thrives on learning what makes his clients unique and being able to join them on their journey to success. Scott is passionate about being part of the innovation economy and watching his clients change the world.

Scott joined Silicon Valley Bank in 2021 after 14 successful years with Mechanics Bank in California as vice president and area manager, where he led six banking service centers.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in business from the University of Colorado Boulder. While there, he was captain of the rugby team.

He lives in the Bay Area with his wife, their two daughters and a goofy basset hound. They enjoy the outdoors, good food and rooting for local sports teams.
