Working with SVB in partnership has truly aligned our common interest of building stronger companies with more voices and experiences at the table. Our combined interest in the venture and startup community has only strengthened our potential.

SVB has helped build programming that supports the success of women and nonbinary investors, founders, and operators. What excites us most about our ongoing collaboration is that they are willing to fund the work that actually makes an impact for women, Black and Latinx innovators and investors. They understand the importance of addressing the disparities in venture capital and tech from a systemic level and are always looking for ways to unlock doors so that underrepresented leaders are part of building and funding the future.

SVB and Catalyst 2045 have been our partners since day one in building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive future for VC. Thanks to SVB’s partnership, leadership, and support, we’ve educated 4,000+ people through VC University, supported 240+ underrepresented emerging managers through Emerging Manager Office Hours, and collected DEI data from 300+ VC firms in our most recent VC Human Capital Survey.

Our partnership with SVB Catalyst 2045 has been instrumental in driving forward our mission to increase the representation of Black investors within the venture capital ecosystem. Through this collaboration, we have been able to challenge traditional norms and biases, build essential skills, and create lasting connections that advance the careers of Black venture investors. Additionally, SVB's sponsorship of our State of Black Venture report has been particularly impactful, providing critical data and insights that highlight the barriers and opportunities for Black investors.
