Mickala Olesen

Mickala Olesen is a vice president relationship manager at SVB for all early-stage enterprise software (B2B SAAS, AI) and climate companies in NYC. She is responsible for client acquisition, portfolio management and community engagement and embraces her role as an evangelist for entrepreneurs. 

Her wide breadth of experience includes credit solutions from SVB, go-to-market at a Series A startup and as a mentor for Techstars portfolio companies. She leads many of SVB's female founder and funder initiatives.

In her free time, she organizes events and workshops for People Who Launch to empower female entrepreneurs in their startup journey. She’s an avid reader and recently joined a NYC book club.

She loves to travel – especially to Greece where some of her family resides – and stay active through attending fitness classes like SoulCycle or CorePower. She enjoys trying new restaurants across NYC, especially restaurants that have pork dumplings!
