May Peralta is a relationship advisor on the global fund banking team, serving venture capital and private equity firms, for Silicon Valley Bank in the San Francisco Bay Area. In her role, she supports preliminary discussions with prospective clients and leads new clients through the onboarding process to open their accounts, as well as guiding clients through demonstrations of online banking and other valuable Silicon Valley Bank services. Additionally, May assists clients with their day-to-day needs, such as maintaining deposit accounts and answering a variety of banking inquiries, to ensure seamless experiences as she provides ongoing guidance to the right Silicon Valley Bank tools to best meet their banking needs. She is passionate about developing long-term relationships with her clients and setting them up for success to help them reach their current — and future — business goals. May is proud to be a part of Silicon Valley Bank, and particularly appreciates its culture of intentional service and ownership to best serve clients and colleagues. She joined the bank in 2015.
With more than 23 years of experience in consumer and commercial banking, May’s primary objective throughout her career has been to help clients reach their financial goals. In earlier positions, she was a branch manager for KeyPoint Credit Union and a customer services representative for Star One Credit Union.
May earned a bachelor’s degree in health science, with a concentration in gerontology, from San Jose State University.
Outside of the office, May enjoys cooking, trying new recipes and traveling with her family.
