Brian Boatman oversees Silicon Valley Bank’s Corporate Banking practice in the Pacific Northwest, Southern California, Rocky Mountains, Southwest, South, and the Midwest. He is responsible for working with public and later-stage private clients. This includes debt financing of all types (working capital, equipment financing, acquisition financing, international trade finance, subordinated debt), global treasury and payments advisory, foreign exchange, and asset management, all delivered in the context of SVB’s deep knowledge and commitment of the innovation space.
Prior to joining Silicon Valley Bank in 2001, he was a vice president and loan officer in the Corporate Banking Group at US Bank. Before US Bank, Boatman spent two years as a registered representative for SAFECO Mutual Funds. Boatman is active in supporting entrepreneurial organizations and events throughout the Seattle area.
Brian earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Santa Clara University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Seattle University.
