In 2014, Weston joined Cypress Growth Capital to support the launch and deployment of the firm’s royalty-based debt fund. Rejoining SVB in Austin two years later, he helped expand the bank’s reach into neighboring emerging tech markets like Houston and San Antonio before moving to San Francisco in 2018.
