Mickey Swift is a managing director of Silicon Valley Bank’s Technology Banking team where he focuses on originating innovative financial solutions for technology companies and building relationships with venture capital and private equity investors. Having been with SVB for over a decade, he has a wide range of experience working with enterprise software, fintech companies and the consumer market.
During his 10-plus years at SVB, Mickey has worked on assignments in a number of different geographies and departments. One notable assignment included a stint in Shanghai covering the growing innovation market in China with SPD SVB, the bank’s joint venture in China. Mickey has also spent time with SVB’s CFO and finance team in Santa Clara, contributing to the reporting process and helping to prepare quarterly earnings calls. Prior to his current role, he led SVB’s New York Corporate Banking team, where he worked with late-stage pre-IPO and public technology companies.
Mickey has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and lives in Manhattan with his wife Donna and daughter Lizzie. In his free time, you can find Mickey surfing at the Jersey shore, playing bass in SVB’s in-house band or attending a New York Rangers game.
