Matthew Reiswig

Matthew Reiswig is a liquidity advisor for Silicon Valley Bank in Portland, Oregon. He and his colleagues lead the business development strategies that position SVB’s liquidity products and investment management capabilities to meet the ever-evolving needs of corporate cash-management clients. In this role, Matthew is particularly focused on identifying the products and services that can best help satisfy clients’ cash and liquidity management needs, which span the banking and investment management platforms for early- to late-stage enterprises. He and his team are dedicated to building and strengthening relationships with clients and helping them preserve capital, meet liquidity needs and optimize returns.

Matthew has nearly 20 years of experience in banking and financial services. He began his banking career during college as a teller with Wells Fargo and later worked his way up to member center manager with Valley Credit Union/CEFCU. He joined SVB in 2011 and spent 10 years in business development, sales and relationship management for pre-Series A startup clients. During this time, he developed long-term relationships with his clients, solving complex issues on their behalf and serving as a trusted advisor.

Matthew holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and sport management from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned Six Sigma Black Belt certification — the highest award for organizational leadership, project management and analytical thinking given by the Management and Strategy Institute.

When he’s not working, Matthew enjoys playing and watching sports of all kinds — especially basketball — and reading books with his daughter.
