Lorie Goulart
Lorie Goulart is a senior relationship advisor for Silicon Valley Bank, managing global fund banking (GFB) relationships in Northern California. Lorie is a daily contact for GFB West client relationships, product and banking needs — she enjoys her daily work with clients as well as assisting her team members with the knowledge she has gained working at Silicon Valley Bank over the years.
After starting her banking career at Union Bank, Lorie joined Silicon Valley Bank in 2003 as an operations specialist in electronic client services, branch operations and client support, in addition to working for five years with SVB Financial Group before joining the team of relationship advisors in 2008. She has seen much of the bank’s growth over the years and has a wealth of knowledge to share with her clients.
Lorie holds a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film from San Jose State University. She is an active volunteer with the Silicon Valley Reads program for the San Jose Public City library system — this program is provided to the community via Zoom video and includes performances by volunteers and local playwrights. She has also volunteered with the Santa Clara Unified School District Read Along program, where children’s books are available to be read aloud via video recordings through HandsOn Bay Area.
Outside of the office, Lorie enjoys hiking, participating in local theater and her advocacy volunteer work for children’s literacy programs. For a new challenge, she is learning to oil paint.
