Julia Feldman
Julia Feldman is a managing partner at SVB Capital, leading the fund of funds business to expand access to innovation through funds, secondaries and separately managed accounts. She spearheads SVB’s identification, development and commitment to the future leaders of the innovation economy. She joined SVB Capital in October 2020, bringing nearly 20 years of private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) investment experience and leadership within the asset class.
Before joining SVB Capital, Julia was a managing director at Goldman Sachs Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS) Group, serving as global head of the AIMS Private Equity Primaries Team. She was responsible for overseeing the investment, portfolio construction and management of more than $28B of client capital, including commingled and custom accounts. She was also the co-chair of the Private Equity Primaries Investment Committee, a member of the Private Equity Co-Investment Committee and a lead investor for Launch with GS, Goldman Sachs’ initiative to invest $500M into funds and companies with diverse leadership. Previously, Julia worked in Goldman Sachs’ investment banking division and as a product marketing manager at Yahoo.
Julia earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in business administration from Harvard Business School. She is on the Executive Advisory Board and Finance Committee of Bright Pink, a national nonprofit focused on providing education and resources for breast and ovarian health. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, two children and golden lab.
