Diane Mullen

Diane Mullen is the marketing lead for setting marketing strategy and plans to ensure SVB is effectively communicating the bank’s value to small businesses and later-stage innovation companies and private equity and venture capital firms.

She is a regular speaker on best practices at marketing conferences run by Corporate Finance Group, JFAM, and the Client Advisory Board.

Diane has more than fifteen years of experience working in financial services and management consulting. At Fidelity Investments she held several Director-level positions in marketing and strategic planning for their Institutional Advisory Group serving Registered Investment Advisors and Personal Investments brokerage business.

Prior to Fidelity, she spent nine years at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) where she was a Principal in the firm's Computers, Information, and Entertainment practice consulting to some of the world's largest technology companies, including Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, AOL, TCI, and AT&T.

Diane holds a bachelor’s degree cum laude in General Studies, with a concentration in Economics, from Harvard College. She is married with two children, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, giving back, history and philosophy, music, and staying fit.
