Derek Osbahr

Derek Osbahr is a senior associate on the FX Risk Advisory team at Silicon Valley Bank in Boston.  In this role, Derek supports VC and emerging managers with their foreign exchange needs, including FX payments, risk advisory services and hedging strategies. He enjoys collaborating with his team to provide white glove service to clients and relishes the opportunity to work with firms that are investing in and growing the innovation economy.

In his previous role at SVB, Derek served as a member of the Global Fund Banking team, where he worked with private equity and VC firms to help structure and implement debt products tailored to their specific investment needs.

In 2017, Derek graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Outside of work, you can find him deep-sea fishing or honing his woodworking skills.
