Courtney Leffall


William “Courtney” Leffall, director of Private Bank and Wealth Advisory relationship management, serves some of the top business innovators in the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountains and Texas regions. A certified financial planner, he specializes in finding the most efficient, effective ways possible to help his customers achieve their goals, offering holistic financial guidance and serving as their liaison to access SVB’s talented team of investment, lending and financial planning specialists.

Before joining SVB in 2021, Courtney provided financial planning, investment, estate planning, banking and lending advice in positions with USAA, Bank of America, Dimensional Fund Advisors and Apex Clearing Corporation. He also founded The Grillmobile, a startup that serves the camping, hunting and fishing markets and received a deal on Food Fortunes, a Shark Tank spinoff produced by the Food Network.

Courtney holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude. He went on to earn a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

Courtney and his wife, Christy, have been married for more than a decade — and met at summer camp when they were 12! They have two sons. When he’s not working, Courtney enjoys spending time with his family, playing piano and being outdoors.
