Caitlin Tolman
Caitlin is a vice president within Silicon Valley Bank’s Corporate Relationship Management group where she leads the team’s national engagements in the healthcare and life science ecosystem. Caitlin works to foster and deepen the bank’s relationships with venture arms, development teams and innovation groups at some of the world’s largest companies, emerging healthcare and life science startups and venture capital funds. Her passion for innovation is evident in the work she does every day to identify emerging industry and market trends.
After graduating with honors from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Caitlin joined Silicon Valley Bank as a client service advisor in 2007. She then held a role in SVB’s Global Sales and Solutions group and helped to drive various product and service solutions, particularly in cash management and payments.
She has a fierce passion for supporting, advocating for and mentoring women and young people. Caitlin is a member of Boston’s Breaking 7%, a group focused on promoting women in venture capital. She also supports The Possible Project, which helps young people become entrepreneurs. And she’s a committee member for the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network in Boston and New York.
Caitlin is based in the Greater Boston Area, and when not working, she loves to embark on adventures with her husband and two very active children.
