Armando A Argueta

Armando Argueta, is a director in the early-stage National Fintech Practice at Silicon Valley Bank, specializing in client relationships with fintech founders. His commitment to startups is rooted in a family legacy of entrepreneurship, motivating his commitment to advising founders and guiding strategic planning and financing.

Previously, Armando worked on SVB's Credit Solutions team underwriting venture debt facilities. He also managed client relationships with early-stage technology founders supporting them through significant milestones, including their first institutional raise and progress towards a Series A round.

Before joining SVB, he served as a lender and middle market banker at a Fortune 50 financial institution, worked as a mortgage broker, founded a commercial real estate practice and began his career as a Unix systems administrator.
