Max Froseth

Max Froseth, director of the Strategic Capital Group, specializes in mezzanine and convertible debt since joining the SCG in 2015 and knows where the opportunities lie in a fast-changing market. Max’s understanding of the innovation landscape helps him easily identify the strategic capital solution that will allow clients to gain a competitive edge.  Having a capital partner with robust capabilities and an emphasis on relationships is vital to success in the competitive worlds where Max’s venture-backed technology clients live and thrive.

A graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder, Max honed his skills as a private equity analyst with MBH Enterprises and as an audit associate with Rothstein Kass (Acquired by KPMG) in public accounting before joining SVB in 2013 as a Structure Finance senior associate. He further distinguished himself by earning a CPA license in the state of Colorado and passing the rigorous Chartered Financial Analyst exam series, earning one of the most respected designations in the field of investment analysis.

In addition to serving his valued business clients, Max lends his expertise and heart to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, where he has raised more than $30,000 as an executive member of the Associate Board of Colorado and is helping to guide his now-13-year-old “Little” on a path to success.

An avid downhill skier and cyclist, Max also once bicycled 4,000 miles from San Francisco to Washington, D.C., to raise funds for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as participated several times in the Best Buddies annual Hearst Castle Challenge.

When he’s not on skis, spokes or on the job, Max enjoys traveling and spending time in the Colorado Rockies with his wife and two daughters.
