Luwei Xiong

Luwei Xiong is an investment analyst with SVB Asset Management (SAM), located in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a generalist, she supports all SAM teams, including portfolio management, trading, credit research and data management. Luwei’s responsibilities range from helping portfolio managers and traders build efficient investment tools, implementing data solutions, and assisting the credit research team with analysis. Luwei enjoys analyzing data and macroeconomic trends. She is excited about the opportunity to support SAM’s unique innovation economy clients.

Before joining SAM, Luwei worked as an investment analyst with Vanguard. She also spent time with Morgan Stanley as a summer analyst in Hong Kong.

Luwei earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Yale University. She also volunteers as a mentor for high school students with Minds Matter San Francisco Bay Area, where she helps motivated, underprivileged students prepare for college success and beyond.

While away from the office, Luwei enjoys playing pickleball, traveling and reading.
