Thomas Powley

Thomas Powley is a relationship advisor with the Software and Internet team for Silicon Valley Bank. He serves clients by helping with setting up and maintaining deposit accounts. Thomas’ clients are in Chicago, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; and throughout the Midwest. He enjoys educating his clients on ways to mitigate risk and fraud and how to make the most of the banking products and services available to them.

Thomas has more than 11 years of experience in banking. Before joining Silicon Valley Bank, he led growth for one of the largest branches of 1st Source Bank in LaPorte, Indiana, and held branch manager and other leadership roles for Fifth Third Bank and Woodforest National Bank. Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ball State University.

Outside of the office, Thomas is a board member of Dunebrook, a child abuse prevention and intervention organization with a mission to help parents build healthier, happier families. He is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement, teaching financial responsibility lessons in local schools. In addition, he is on the grant selection committee for their annual grants program, The Power of Good. He is happily married and raising twins.
