Scott McCarty

Scott McCarty is a senior member of SVB’s National Life Science and Healthcare Team for 21+ years supporting healthcare innovation with a full suite of senior commercial banking services tailored specifically for high growth entrepreneurial life science and healthcare businesses of all stages.  Scott is currently leading national business development and is spending much of his time deploying senior debt growth capital ($1-200MM) to Series A+ private and public companies across all healthcare innovation sectors. 

Prior to SVB, Scott began his career in software sales for a few different healthcare technology startup companies in the Atlanta area. 

Scott resides outside of Atlanta, GA, and when not working, enjoys traveling with his wife and two girls, as well as spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, playing pickleball, and running his two dogs.  Scott graduated from Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia with a major in Finance in 2000.
