Nick French

Silicon Valley Bank
Principal IR, Fundraising
Nick French is a senior liquidity advisor based in Palo Alto, where he works with various technology and life science companies, from startups to large public corporations. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry, he along with his colleagues lead the client relationship and business development strategy that positions SVB’s liquidity products and investment management capabilities to meet the ever-evolving demands of the bank’s corporate cash management clients. In this role, he identifies the products and services that can best help satisfy clients’ cash and liquidity management needs, which span across banking and investment management platforms for early- to late-stage enterprises. He is focused on building and strengthening relationships with clients and helping clients preserve capital, satisfy liquidity needs and optimize return so clients can concentrate on their core business.

Before joining SVB in 2011, Nick spent nine years with global asset management firm Fisher Investments, where he sharpened his expertise in business development, relationship management and analytics. He also holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and psychology from Duke University.

When not working, Nick and his wife are actively involved with the Weingarten Children’s Center, a nonprofit organization that provides rehabilitative care and educational services for children who are deaf or profoundly hard of hearing. For fun, this avid skier can often be found heading to the slopes. Or he might be out discovering an exciting adventure elsewhere in the world, as he loves to travel internationally. Nick lives in Burlingame, California, with his wife and three daughters.
