Nanci Fastre is a senior liquidity advisor working with venture-backed and public company clients as well as venture capital and private equity firms. Nanci has more than 20 years of experience in banking and financial services. She and her colleagues lead the client relationship and business development strategy that positions SVB’s liquidity products and investment management capabilities to meet the ever-evolving demands of the bank’s corporate cash management clients. She identifies the products and services that can best help satisfy clients’ cash and liquidity management needs, which span across banking and investment management platforms for early-stage startups to large public enterprises. She keeps focused on building and strengthening relationships with clients and helping clients preserve capital, satisfy liquidity needs and optimize return, so clients can concentrate on their core business.

Before joining SVB, Nanci spent five years in the technology sector with Maxim Integrated Products, where she managed specialty finance projects, including merger and acquisition opportunities, and was responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and Treasury functions. Prior to her work with Maxim, Nanci spent eight years as a banker and financial advisor as the vice president and director for global technology banking at ABN AMRO Bank. In addition, she had technology banking responsibilities at BNP Paribas and CIBC Oppenheimer.

Nanci earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Southern California.

Nanci is the founder and president of Young Women in Finance, a non-profit focused on educating and mentoring young women building careers in the field of finance. When she’s not championing the needs of her clients and young mentees, Nanci enjoys brewing craft beer, skiing, running and mountain biking. She also has two sons who keep her very busy.
