Mark Peterson
Mark Peterson is Head of Technology Lending at Silicon Valley Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank. Mark’s current role encompasses sales, structuring, portfolio management, and underwriting teams covering all verticals within the Technology space: Fintech, Frontier Tech, Enterprise, Consumer, Climate Tech, and Hardware for all US regions. He works closely with other verticals within SVB/FCB including Global Fund Banking, Treasury Management, Private Bank, Healthcare, and Leverage Buyouts to create unique platform addressing varying opportunities within the innovation ecosystem.
Mark joined SVB in 2011, and most recently was Senior Market Manager covering the West, Midwest and Texas regions, based in Denver, CO. Prior to SVB, Mark worked in Boston and San Francisco with Comerica Bank. Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in economics from the University of Denver. He currently lives in Denver with his wife and three kids.
