Kiran Malhotra

As a vice president with the SVB Startup Banking team, Kiran Malhotra manages the early-stage startup portfolio of technology clients in the Seattle/Pacific Northwest region. She also helps grow SVB’s relationships with venture capital firms, corporations, accelerators, incubators and other key players in the region’s innovation ecosystem.   

Prior to joining SVB, Kiran was the director of VC relationships and startup development at Fenwick & West. In that role, she helped develop their venture capital and startup pipeline in the firm’s major markets, which included the Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York and Seattle. Kiran also previously served as a venture director at the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and as an executive director at the nonprofit TiE Silicon Valley.  

Kiran has a bachelor’s degree in economics from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in psychology from California State University, East Bay.
