Jesse Hurley

Jesse Hurley is the head of Silicon Valley Bank’s Global Fund Banking and counts many of the innovation economy’s top private equity and venture capital firms as clients. He serves on the leadership team of the commercial bank, a division of First Citizens Bank.

Under Jesse’s leadership since 2018, Global Fund Banking provides expertise and lending solutions for private equity and venture capital firm clients across a full range of strategies and stages, including innovative liquidity and fund-level debt solutions. These products include capital call facilities, fund guaranteed loans to portfolio companies, NAV-based facilities, management company working capital lines and GP commitment financing.

Previously, Jesse spent three years in the bank’s mezzanine finance group, lending subordinated debt to innovation companies.

Jesse earned an MBA from Babson College and a bachelor’s degree from Colby College. He lives in the Boston area and can be found sailing, running and spending as much time as possible skiing the icy slopes of the East Coast with his family.
