    Jason Cosso is a senior credit officer at Silicon Valley Bank and responsible for credit approval, credit quality and management of SVB’s Leveraged Finance and Sponsor Finance loan portfolio.

    Jason has spent nearly 25 years in banking, primarily focused on supporting private equity-backed companies in the middle market. Jason has navigated various marketing condition and held management roles and positions in origination, underwriting, portfolio management and syndications.

    Jason was a senior leader for SVB’s Syndications and Sponsor Finance teams from 2011- 2015 and rejoined SVB in 2024 in credit administration. He has also held roles at Wells Fargo, Comerica, CIT and California Bank and Trust.

    Jason earned a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
