Francis Bonnemere

Silicon Valley Bank
Director, Product Management

Francis Bonnemere is director, product management for SVB’s Global Treasury Management team in the Greater San Diego area. Working out of the La Jolla office, Francis oversees electronic payments products, including wires, bill pay and MasterCard Remote Payment and Presentment Service (RPPS) sponsorships. Not only does Francis work to ensure the ease, speed and accuracy of today’s transactions, he has a constant focus on tomorrow, too. He continually partners with colleagues and vendors to implement the latest products that make banking simpler for SVB clients.

When Francis joined SVB in 2012, he brought with him more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector, with employers ranging from small community banks and fintech firms to large multinational corporations. Over the course of his career, Francis has built and managed banking technology applications that brought in an average of $10 million annually. He most recently served as vice president and senior project manager for Bank of the West in Monterey Park.

Because the successful implementation of intricate banking applications requires a group effort, Francis is a practitioner of the Scrum methodology, a framework for gaining effective teamwork on complex projects. To this end, he has achieved the distinction of a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).

Francis attended UCLA and lives in San Diego. When he’s not in the office making sure that client transactions proceed smoothly and instantaneously, you’ll likely find this avid runner outdoors taking full advantage of the temperate SoCal climate as he trains for his next half-marathon.
