Brandon Sturtevant
Brandon Sturtevant is a vice president for SVB’s Strategic Capital Group, serving technology companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Working from the bank’s London office, Brandon provides capital solutions to entrepreneurs who will shape the way we work and live for years to come. Brandon enjoys discovering each founder’s vision of the future, and he especially thrives when “digging into the weeds” — gaining a fundamental understanding of groundbreaking technology.
Brandon’s professional background encompasses equal parts of credit solutions and relationship advising experience. Before taking on his current role, he was a relationship manager for the bank’s early and growth-stage Consumer Internet team in San Francisco. Prior to that, he served the Enterprise Software Credit Solutions team, also in San Francisco; during this time, he provided a variety of debt solutions for companies ranging from Series A to public listings. Brandon launched his career in SVB’s Associate Development Program in Palo Alto, where he learned the fundamentals of underwriting to high-growth technology companies.
Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. While in college, Brandon was a member of the Stonehill College Investment Finance Initiative, a selective, multiyear program for students seeking to build investment expertise through the management of the Herlihy Opportunity Fund.
In his spare time, Brandon volunteers for a local community program that addresses homelessness via food drives and charity shops. In addition, he enjoys golf, surfing, snowboarding and exploring the outdoors with his wife, family and friends.
