Andrea Hernandez is a senior relationship advisor with the Software and Internet team for Silicon Valley Bank in Southern California. With a keen focus on client success, she manages a diverse portfolio of clients and acts as their first point of contact for all inquiries.

Drawing on her expertise and experience, Andrea takes pride in leading her clients through a range of essential responsibilities, including new client onboarding, customized banking structures, risk advice, client success strategies and ongoing account maintenance. By helping Software and Internet clients navigate best practices and explore the bank’s suite of products and services, Andrea empowers them to achieve long-term security and growth while delivering exceptional service and building enduring relationships.

In addition to her client-facing role, Andrea has demonstrated a talent for relationship development within both commercial and private bank sectors. Her commitment to improving customer service and organizational efficiency is evident in her track record of launching value-add resources and tools to enhance the client experience.

Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and remains dedicated to giving back to her community as an active volunteer at the Casa Youth Shelter in Los Alamitos. Here, she curates activities to provide residents with a creative outlet and valuable life skills.

Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Andrea finds joy in spending time at the beach with her beloved Boston Terrier, Dewie. Together, they enjoy paddleboarding under the Southern California sunshine and embrace an active and balanced lifestyle.
