Boston Private is pleased to announce that Tony Sachs has joined as Managing Director of Residential Loan Sales. In this newly created role, Mr. Sachs will be responsible for the development of an enhanced mortgage origination platform in support of the company’s growth goals. He is based in San Francisco.
Mr. Sachs has more than 25 years of experience in residential lending, product management, relationship price modeling and capital markets. Prior to Boston Private, he served as Vice President of Lending Products & Strategy at Charles Schwab Bank, where he led the product development and marketing strategy around mortgage lending and stock-secured lending. Prior to Schwab, Mr. Sachs was the Chief Lending Officer for Sindeo, a fintech mortgage start-up in San Francisco. Previously, he spent 16 years with First Republic Bank, including eight years as Vice President of Lending Strategy, Products & Sales, responsible for the bank’s strategic plan for lending activities.
Mr. Sachs earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of San Francisco School of Business, as well as a Master’s degree in English from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from St. Olaf College. In his spare time, he enjoys marathons, Airstreaming and live music.
