SANTA CLARA, Calif. – November 9, 2015 –Silicon Valley Bank, the bank of the world's most innovative companies and their investors, today announced that Bruce Wallace takes on the role of Chief Digital Officer and Michael Dreyer joins the company's executive management team as Chief Operations Officer (COO), effective November 11, 2015.

Dreyer picks up the position from former SVB COO Bruce Wallace, who is now responsible for transforming the company's digital banking experience and overseeing SVB's fee-based product businesses as SVB's Chief Digital Officer. In his role as COO, Dreyer will oversee SVB's core operations, enterprise project management, client service and information technology teams.
Formerly COO and President of the Americas for Monitise, Dreyer was responsible for the design, build, and operations of its technology globally, and he ran the company's Americas business. Previously, he was the CIO of Visa Inc., responsible for the company's systems and technology platforms and Chief Information Officer of Inovant, where he oversaw the development and management of Visa's global systems technology. He also held executive positions at Visa USA as senior vice president of processing and emerging products, and senior vice president of commercial solutions. Additionally, Dreyer held senior positions at American Express, Prime Financial, Inc., Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Bank of America.
