Rich Jaffé joins Boston Private

Boston Private is pleased to announce that Rich Jaffé has joined as Wealth Market Leader for the New York Metro region. In this new role, Mr. Jaffé will oversee private wealth strategy and operations in the New York Metro area, and lead business development in the region. He will also drive talent recruitment in the region, enhancing Boston Private’s ability to deliver integrated banking and wealth management solutions to clients.

Mr. Jaffé brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services. Most recently, he served as Head of High Net Worth Client Strategy at Wells Fargo Advisors, where he led a team responsible for delivering wealth management solutions to the firm’s most complex clients. Prior to that, he was Head of Private Banking North America and Regional Manager of the Mid-Atlantic Region at Credit Suisse. His previous experience also includes regional leadership roles at JPMorgan Private Bank and Credit Suisse First Boston, private wealth management at Goldman Sachs & Co., and Partner at Miller Investment Management.

Mr. Jaffé received his bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College and his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
