Tyler Dittrich


Tyler Dittrich leads the Leveraged Finance and Sponsor Coverage practice for the Technology Banking group which focuses on meeting the complex financing needs of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies by delivering tailored cash flow and recurring revenue structures for bilateral or syndicated deals. In this role, Tyler is responsible for leading the bank’s sponsor finance business, including origination, execution and portfolio management for clients in the life science and healthcare sector. He was previously the senior credit officer for the Leveraged Finance and Sponsor Coverage team, responsible for new loan approvals and credit quality across the technology and healthcare verticals before moving to his current role.

Tyler started his career at SVB in 2010 as part of the Structured Finance team before transitioning to the Leveraged Finance team in 2012. In 2015, Tyler joined TA Associates, a leading global growth private equity firm, where he was responsible for managing capital markets activities, including financings for new investments, add-on acquisitions, recapitalizations, and IPOs. During his time at TA, Tyler supported over 150 debt transactions, providing expertise in structuring various debt instruments including private credit unitranche facilities, broadly syndicated term loans, and subordinated debt invested out of TA’s captive fund.

Before returning to SVB in 2022, he joined Legna Software as the COO and CFO. For nearly four years, he was responsible for executing a recurring revenue growth driven thesis, which included the conversion of the business’s revenue and delivery models to a hosted, subscription offering. In this capacity, he oversaw product management, delivery, customer support and success, and financial functions. 

Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Originally from Boston’s North Shore, he is a trustee associate at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA and a trustee of the Rogers Family Foundation.
