Tom Gordon
Tom Gordon is a Managing Director for Silicon Valley Bank, a member of SVB Financial Group. Tom leads a dedicated team of professionals in the Philadelphia office serving the Life Science, Technology and Clean Tech markets in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Philadelphia team also works closely with the venture capital and private equity firms that invest in these sectors.
Tom joined SVB Financial in 2004. Prior to SVB, Tom worked in Middle Market Corporate Banking and Specialty Finance at PNC Bank and Bank of America. Tom is active in many of the organizations that support the entrepreneurial communities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including the MAC Alliance, Pennsylvania Bio, New Jersey Bio, The New Jersey Technology Council and the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association.
Tom holds a degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University and also holds an MBA from St. Joseph’s University.
