Jesse Hurley

Jesse Hurley is the head of Global Fund Banking (GFB) at Silicon Valley Bank and counts many of the top private equity and venture capital firms as clients. He serves on the leadership team of the commercial bank, a division of First Citizens Bank.

Under Jesse’s leadership since 2018, GFB provides expertise and innovative liquidity and fund-level lending solutions for private equity and venture capital firm clients across a full range of strategies, stages, and sectors. These solutions include capital call facilities, fund guaranteed loans to portfolio companies, NAV-based facilities, management company working capital lines and GP commitment financing.

Previously, Jesse spent three years in the bank’s mezzanine finance group, lending subordinated debt to innovation companies.

Jesse holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA from Colby College. He lives in the Boston area and enjoys sailing, running and spending as much time as possible skiing the icy slopes of the East Coast with his family.
