Craig Smith
Craig Smith is a director of liquidity account management and is based in Tempe, Arizona. He oversees a team of liquidity account managers who are focused on providing high-touch client service and guidance on day-to-day investment portfolio needs. He leads the team in striving for consistent and outstanding client service in each client interaction through building strong partnerships and trust with clients.
Craig has extensive experience in client service with over a decade of client service industry experience. Prior to returning to SVB in 2020, he was as a VP of Client Service at Western Alliance Bank where he redesigned the support model for each of the bank’s divisions. His prior role at SVB was a manager on the Client Service team. He earned his bachelor’s degree in management at Oakland University.
He volunteers at Arizona BankWorks, which helps young adults from low-income communities build meaningful careers in banking. He enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping or playing golf. He also loves to travel with his wife.
