We are excited to welcome a new advisor to the Boston Private team.
David Lancaster joined us on September 3 as a Managing Director, Relationship Manager in our San Francisco office. David has more than 30 years’ experience as a trader, portfolio manager, private banker and family office head.
Prior to joining Boston Private, David was President and Chief Investment Officer at a single family office in San Francisco, and a Director at Carmel Partners, a multi-billion dollar private equity real estate firm. Previously, Dave worked with the Global Family Office group at UBS and was a senior private banker at JP Morgan where he advised ultra-high-net-worth clients on their banking, lending, asset management and advanced planning needs. Dave has served as the senior investment advisor for a number of large family offices and was a portfolio manager specializing in quantitative global asset allocation and risk management for Millennium Partners, a $35 billion institutional fund manager based in New York.
Dave graduated from Vanderbilt University, with a B.A. in Economics. He is an avid pilot and recently served as a Director for a leading West Coast private aviation firm and co-owner of a San Francisco Bay Area charter operator.
