We are pleased to welcome Andres Coles to the Boston Private team.
Mr. Coles joined us on December 16 as a Relationship Manager based in our New York office. He will be responsible for providing high-net-worth individuals and family offices with high quality investment strategies, wealth management solutions and strategic planning solutions.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Coles was Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for Atrium Diversified Fund, a multi-strategy fund of hedge funds. He also served as Head of the Investment Committee of Davos Financial Advisors. In that role, Mr. Coles allocated to a number of recognized hedge funds across all asset classes and directed investment strategy and asset allocation for the firm’s equity and fixed income portfolios. He was also responsible for all business development and research publications.
Mr. Coles spent more than eight years as a mergers and acquisitions advisor in the consumer food and beverages and agribusiness sectors serving strategic and financial sponsor investors at Rabobank International. Prior to that he served on the management team of Ibero-American Media Partners Fund, a private equity vehicle affiliated with Hicks Muse Tate & Furst and the Cisneros Group of Companies, focused on the media and entertainment sector in Latin America and the U.S. Mr. Coles began his career in the Latin American Banking group at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
Mr. Coles is a graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, MA, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance and international economics. He also earned his Master of Business Administration at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
