Dennis Rapoport

Dennis Rapoport is a managing director at Silicon Valley Bank in San Francisco. He joined SVB in January 2020 and currently leads the Northern California consumer internet team. A 17-year veteran of the banking industry, Dennis has worked extensively with companies specializing in e-commerce, gaming, digital media, ad tech, and other mainstays of the technology sector.

Throughout his career, Dennis has helped countless entrepreneurs expand their businesses and achieve their goals. He particularly enjoys being part of the journey that takes a new business from a small startup to a massive enterprise. His diverse customer base and network in the venture community is a testament to his years of hard work and dedication. Ever-focused on self improvement, Dennis believes his experiences in the banking industry—good and bad—all serve to make him a better banker for his clients.

Dennis is originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, but moved to the United States when he was nine years old. He’s been in the Bay Area ever since. In his free time, Dennis surrounds himself with friends and family and seeks inspiration from the changing world around him.
