Boston -- June 18, 2001 -- Jim Maynard, senior relationship manager in Silicon Valley Bank's Boston Venture Capital Group, will be moderating a panel at the VentureOne Exchange on June 19 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. The panel topic is "Managing Capital when Liquidity Opportunities are Scarce."
Maynard's panel will discuss how entrepreneurs and investors must plan and manage their rounds of financing during the market slowdown, in order to sustain growth and reach profitability. Panelists will explain which attributes companies need to succeed when the prospect of private investment, public investment or corporate buyout is scarce.
