Fernando Cabildo is a Director and Trust Officer, working with SVB Private’s individual and family clients in the administration of their trusts and estates. Mr. Cabildo has administered personal trusts, special needs trusts, charitable trusts, probate estates, and conservatorships since 2004.
He began his wealth management career as a trusts and estates paralegal with a San Jose law firm, and since 2010, has served as a trust administrator and officer with community and national banks throughout Northern and Southern California.
Prior to joining SVB Private, Mr. Cabildo served as a Senior Trust Officer with a community bank with an emphasis on charitable trusts, complex special needs trusts, and immediate post-death trust and probate estate administrations.
Mr. Cabildo has his bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and graduated from UC Berkeley’s Paralegal Studies program. He is an honors graduate of the Canon Trust School and holds a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation. Mr. Cabildo is a member of the Paralegal Association of Santa Clara County and an associated professional member of the Palo Alto Area Bar Association.
He is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area.
