Marisa Mathews

Marisa Mathews is a senior relationship advisor on the Life Science and Healthcare team for Silicon Valley Bank. Located in Southern California, she helps business clients assess and establish deposit accounts, facilitates transition services from their previous banks to Silicon Valley Bank and acts as a liaison to other departments within the bank to resolve issues and recommend strategic solutions. She also assists with complex transaction inquiries and advises on best practices for security and fraud prevention. Marisa finds purpose in helping her clients succeed and reach their goals as they develop new pharmaceutical solutions and medical devices to improve and save lives.

Marisa joined Silicon Valley Bank in 1997 and has worked with hundreds of Southwest region bank clients, supporting them from startup stage through becoming publicly traded companies. Through the years, she has enjoyed working with her clients as they have grown and moved within their industries. Marisa earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from San Diego State University.

When not working, Marisa enjoys reading, camping, playing tennis, and swimming with her family, as well as volunteering at her children’s schools.
