Half Moon Bay, CA -- April 30, 2001 -- Silicon Valley Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Silicon Valley Bancshares, is co-sponsoring the Connections 2001: Communication Partnering Conference held April 29 - May 1. The conference will be take place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Half Moon Bay, California.
Connections 2001 provides a forum for 75 emerging communications companies to explore partnering opportunities with an audience of industry leading communications companies, fellow emerging companies and venture capital firms. The leading communications-oriented venture capital firms have chosen the attending emerging communications companies from their portfolios. Each company will have half an hour to make a presentation to a panel of the leading communications venture capitalists.
Silvia Fernandez, Software Division Manager of Silicon Valley Bank, will be speaking at the welcome breakfast on the first day of Connections 2001. Other sponsors of Connections 2001 include Brobeck, Credit Suisse First Boston, The Daily Deal, Nasdaq, Bowne, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Metricom.
