Matthew Wright, Managing Director at Silicon Valley Bank with over 19 years of banking experience, focuses on frontier and emerging tech companies. Matthew specializes in finding creative debt solutions to high-growth venture backed companies at every stage of life allowing them to scale and ultimately realize their cutting edge technologies.
Matthew and his team covering the transportation, robotics, IoT, aerospace, virtual reality, augmented reality, consumer electronics, storage, networking and semiconductor industries. Matthew joined SVB in 2008 and has held positions with relationship management, asset based lending and now with the Frontier Tech lending team.
Matthew earned his bachelor’s in economics at the University of California, Davis and his MBA in Finance from St. Mary’s College of California. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, exploring the outdoors, and following the 49ers, A’s, and Warriors.
