Lilly Huang is a director of Silicon Valley Bank’s Global Gateway, which assists innovation companies with their international market expansion. She has over 10 years of experience helping companies solve their most critical financial and strategic challenges when they expand internationally.
Prior to her current role, Huang was the head of Silicon Valley Bank’s Entrepreneur Services Group (ESG) platform, based in China. Through the ESG platform, Huang was responsible for fostering an entrepreneur ecosystem in China and helping Chinese entrepreneurs succeed.
Before joining SVB, Huang was director of the China Desk for the City of San Francisco, based in Shanghai, and successfully helped more than a dozen Chinese companies set up U.S. subsidiaries in San Francisco. Huang began her career with HSBC London.
Huang relocated back to the U.S. in 2012 and is currently living in San Francisco. She enjoys teaching a Global Entrepreneurship Marketing course at Stanford University and serving as a mentor with Stanford Technology Ventures Program.
