Lilly Huang is the head of Silicon Valley Bank’s Entrepreneur Services Group (ESG) platform, based in Shanghai, China. Through the ESG platform, Huang is responsible for fostering an entrepreneur ecosystem in China and helping Chinese entrepreneurs succeed.

Prior to joining SVB, Huang was director of the China Desk for the City of San Francisco, based in Shanghai, and successfully helped more than a dozen Chinese companies set up U.S. subsidiaries in San Francisco. Huang helped GCL Solar and iSoftStone open their U.S. offices in San Francisco and ran a Chinese trading company, Xiling, in the San Francisco Bay Area for four years. Huang began her career with HSBC London.

Huang is a native of Guangdong Province and received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Guangdong University. She also received a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Birmingham in the U.K.
