Claire Lee is the Head of Silicon Valley Bank’s team dedicated to working with founders, entrepreneurs and early stage companies. As part of this, Claire also heads up the strategic partnerships with leading accelerators, incubators, investment and industry groups that support founders at the early stage.
Silicon Valley Bank works with more than 50 percent of the venture capital-backed companies in the US.
Claire joined the company in January 2014 to lead the Silicon Valley Bank Corporate Venture Relationship Group, which was established in 2009 to build connections between investment groups at some of the world’s largest companies and emerging technology and life science startups. She was responsible for Silicon Valley Bank’s relationships with corporate venture funds, corporate development teams and innovation groups at Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to this, Claire ran Strategic Partnerships for Microsoft Ventures, established June 2013. As a Principal in the seed fund, Claire was evaluating and investing in early stage startups, working closely with the partners that incubate, invest in and support them.

Before Microsoft, Claire worked with Compaq at the global distributor Ingram Micro and with Siemens at Marconi (Ericsson). Claire began her career as a graduate with IBM Ireland.
