Gwendolyn Wong Joins Silicon Valley Bank Private Client Services Senior Credit Officer Dedicated to Venture Capital and Private Equity Clients

Wong joined SVB to manage credit approval and product development for SVB Private Client Services' venture capital and private equity clients.

Wong joined Silicon Valley Bank after consulting and serving as a senior vice president and senior credit officer for East West Bank in 2009. Previously, Wong served as the senior credit risk manager for First Republic Bank, a private bank, since 2004. Wong has also held senior leadership positions with California Bank & Trust, KPMG and the Industrial Bank of Japan. She earned an MBA from the University of San Francisco, a master's degree in mathematics from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Hawaii. Wong is also committed to community service and holds leadership roles with the Girl Scouts of the USA, the United Way of the Bay Area and Professional Business Women of California.
