Global Fund Banking
Tej Sahi is a Director in the Global Fund Banking division at Silicon Valley Bank based in New York. As a senior member of the team, Tej is responsible for managing relationships with Private Equity and Venture Capital firms, providing debt financing in the form of capital call lines, general partner facilities, management company lines and portfolio company notes.
Prior to joining Silicon Valley Bank, Tej was with Standard Chartered Bank for 11 years in a number of roles in London and New York across Global Banking and Financial Markets (Asset Backed Finance and Fixed Income Sales). Most recently, he was an Executive Director in the Global Banking division, responsible for managing the bank’s Private Equity funds portfolio with a mandate to originate and execute capital call facilities, asset level financing and cross-sell the bank’s financial market capabilities. Tej began his career at The Royal Bank of Scotland where he was responsible for Loan Sales to Private and Retail clients in the UK.
Tej graduated from the University of Manchester with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with honors and with a Master’s in Business from Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom.
