Jon Eddy is a senior investment consultant for SVB Asset Management (SAM) working with life science and technology firms and is based in Boston. He and his colleagues lead the business development strategy that positions SVB Asset Management’s liquidity investment management capabilities to meet the ever-evolving demands of the bank’s corporate cash management clients. In this role, he identifies the products and services that can best help satisfy clients’ cash and liquidity management needs, which span across banking and investment management platforms for early- to late-stage enterprises. He is focused on helping clients preserve capital, satisfy liquidity needs and optimize return so clients can concentrate on their core business.
Before joining SVB in 2010, Jon worked at Capital Advisors Group as a senior vice president of new business development, where he was responsible for establishing separately managed accounts for corporate cash clients.
Jon holds a master’s degree in business administration from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the University of Connecticut. In addition, he holds his Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses through our affiliated broker-dealer, SVB Securities.
Jon lives with his wife in Lexington, Massachusetts, and serves as a member of the Lexington PTA Scholarship Committee, which provides scholarships for college-bound students. With both of his kids graduated from college, Jon and his wife are empty nesters. They like to escape to Maine with their dog Frankie, where they enjoy a host of outdoor activities such as boating, biking, hiking, tennis, golf and just relaxing along the ocean.
