Jennifer Novoa is a portfolio advisor at SVB Asset Management (SAM) based in Santa Clara and is her clients’ go-to source for questions regarding their accounts and financial products. She loves the challenge of working with her clients with multiple fast-moving parts — and thrives on providing these groundbreakers with the quick, flexible SAM focus on investment and asset management services they need so they can focus on creating new advances. In her pursuit of providing the best service she can, Jennifer often collaborates with internal and external partners to find just the right connections and solutions.
Jennifer joined SVB in 2016 as a client advisor. In this role, she helped clients establish new investment accounts with SAM and navigated each account’s legal requirements. Earlier in her career, Jennifer served as an investment analyst at UCLA Investment Company. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in predictive analytics from Northwestern University. In 2017, Jennifer volunteered as a welcome organizer for the Watermark Institute Conference for Women in Silicon Valley.
Jennifer loves a challenge, and that applies to her personal life as well. This outdoor enthusiast describes herself as “a bit of a thrill-seeker,” which is a bit of an understatement, considering she enjoys bungee jumping in Southern California’s San Gabriel mountain range and skydiving in the bay area.
