Rob Derry

Rob Derry is a senior liquidity advisor based in Seattle, where he and his colleagues lead the client relationship and business development strategy that positions SVB’s liquidity products and investment management capabilities to meet the ever-evolving demands of the bank’s corporate cash management clients. In this role, he identifies the products and services that can best help satisfy clients’ cash and liquidity management needs, which span across banking and investment management platforms for early- to late- stage enterprises. He and his team are focused on building and strengthening relationships with clients and helping clients preserve capital, satisfy liquidity needs and optimize return so clients can concentrate on their core business.

Since joining SVB in 2004, Rob has been a trusted partner to hundreds of fast-moving private and public technology companies, helping them utilize SAM's management capabilities to efficiently navigate their growth stages. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Washington, Seattle.

Rob resides in Seattle with his daughter. And while it is true that the area is notorious for rain and clouds, the climate makes for lots of snow in the mountains and amazing, albeit abbreviated, summers. Rob, his daughter and their Bernese Mountain dog love heading to their cabin in Lake Chelan during the summer and venturing north to the ski slopes of Whistler in the winter.
